Storyboarding for E-Learning


In this introductory-level session, you'll see examples and learn what elements are usually needed for e-learning storyboards. You'll learn the basics from layout of storyboard templates, the reasoning behind the inclusion of certain elements, and you'll see the basics for how to communicate via storyboard when working with a team of developers to ensure that your ideas come to life as you envision them.

About Speaker:

Shauna Vaughan has a bachelor’s in psychology (emphasis on physiological psychology), a certificate in professional writing, and a master’s in instructional design and technology. She is a Brandon Hall Award-winning instructional designer and project manager with a multi-faceted background designing and implementing training for clients such as The Walt Disney Company, Hill-Rom Company, and the Department of Defense, among many others.

She has done research in brain-compatible learning strategies and the use of storytelling as an instructional strategy and knowledge management tool. Her passion lies in the challenge of identifying the gap between actual and optimal products and performance, and designing effective and interactive ways of bridging that gap. In her downtime she enjoys CrossFit, traveling, yoga, and outdoor adventures like rock climbing, hiking, and canyoneering.
