xAPI for Dummies: Two Perspectives

Presented by David Keezel and Sean McGinty

Learn how even not-so technical individuals can understand and use the Experience API (xAPI) in their organization to become data-driven. You will explore real data-driven enterprise learning cases using this proven technology, learn about getting into advanced evaluation techniques through xAPI, and given tools to take home and begin using xAPI immediately. Also learn how that data is used after it is collected, and why you should be collecting it! It isn’t hard - let us show you how to do it!

Objectives:

  • Learn a non-technical explanation of xAPI
  • Learn how using xAPI will increase the breadth of your learning evaluation techniques
  • Learn how to use powerful, free open-sourced tools to begin using and making the case for xAPI back at the office
  • Learn how other corporate companies are using xAPI today to gain data-driven learning insights
