Summary of Session
Communication Competency is the ability for someone who is communicating with another to reach their goals through interactive and appropriate interaction. Primarily, it is a skill level that Talent Development professionals must attain and maintain. In order to achieve competency in communication, the communicator must meet six criteria: flexibility, involvement, management, empathy, effectiveness, and appropriateness. This session will cover the six competencies with some tips on how to attain them and maintain them.
Bio
Pat has over 20 years of demonstrated leadership and fiscal performance. She is an integrated strategic thinker who thrives on challenges and adding value to both the organization and its employees. She is a talent management and development specialist known for building strong, loyal, business savvy teams. Pat has led successful strategic planning, succession planning and career planning programs. She is also known for creating and implementing leadership and professional development programs.
Currently, Pat is the President and Sr. Consultant with Achieving Performance Success, working with clients such as AAA, Arbitration Forums, The Parliamentarians, and CCW EAP.
She also works part time as a tutor facilitating ESL, Reading, and Math.

Dinner 6 pm - 6:30 pm
Speaker Presentation 7 pm - 7:45 pm
Closing Remarks and Drawings 7:45 pm - 8 pm
