    Position Summary:

    A unique & challenging opportunity has become available for an experienced, system savvy, strategic Director of Learning and Organizational Development for one of our clients in the Hospitality Services/Valet Parking industry in Tampa, FL. Our client provides Hospitality Services in Valet Parking, Front Door Services and Parking Management Services, exclusively to the hotel and resort industry. This position is a key to the organization's structure and is for a highly skilled hands-on, motivated, exceptional curriculum engineer, strong executive and outstanding Learning and Development professional, who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment.

    The ideal candidate will focus on working together with the software developing team on the Learning Management System (LMS), developing, and engineering the curriculum training programs for the entire organization nationwide, facilitate the training programs, supervise and oversee a future team of trainers nationwide. This role will report to the President and will be part of the executive team and it will also be responsible for maximize operational effectiveness while delivering excellence in service as the industry leader.


    • Select, manage and collaborate with 3rd party instructional designers and content developers in the design and development of a completely custom, world-class scalable e-learning solution.
    • Through a detailed selection process, identify and select a robust LMS that includes a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, action learning & a robust e-learning platform.
    • Responsible for creating and managing training and development strategies to strengthen the organization's capabilities and to ensure it has the talent to meet current and future business needs.
    • Design, develop, and support delivery of an enterprise manager essentials program for first time managers
    • Oversee the design and development of high potential leadership programs (both at the emerging and senior leader level)
    • Develop an e-learning strategy to complement existing offerings and integrate into overall L&OD strategy
    • Provide strategic direction for, plus leadership and execution of, company-wide organizational training and development programs and initiatives to promote a performance culture.
    • Deliver high impact training that maximizes learner participation, comprehension and application of the material utilizing technology, interaction, and innovative tactics
    • Prioritize training needs with business leaders. Develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of programs.
    • Lead teams, whether direct reports and/or cross-functional partners, and vendors in program design and implementation of end-to-end talent management and team development solutions that include the evaluation, design, and delivery of programs.


    • A successful candidate will have at least 10 years of Learning and Development experience with specific knowledge and hands-on expertise in creating a world-class learning and development platform.
    • Experience building out effective use of Learning Management Systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to articulate and implement a training and development vision, strategy and action plan/road map that produces measurable results.
    • Strong project management skills, including a proven track record of leading large, complex projects using standard project management practices and tools.
    • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, communication, and consulting skills. Ability to assess needs, influence, collaborate, deliver and partner at the most senior levels in the organization.
    • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with the ability to successfully multitask and meet deadlines and customer demands.
    • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
